Prey is all set to release this summer. Being a prequel to Schwarzenegger’s original, it is the 5th instalment in the Predator franchise. Promises to reboot the Predator franchise with a new premise, Prey has set a new hope for the fans of this horror-action series. Set in the Comanche Nation in the early 18th century, the film follows Naru, a fierce and highly skilled warrior. When the alien hunters pose a threat to her people, she starts to hunt the hunters who are far more superior in arsenal and technology. To bring more authenticity to the movie, most of the cast is of Native American descent. The lead role of Naru is portrayed by Amber Midthunder while Dakota Beavers, Dane DiLiegaro, and Michelle Thrush are cast in supporting roles. Prey is helmed by Dan Trachtenberg who is famous for directing the critically acclaimed 10 Cloverfield Lane in 2016. Unlike other films of this series, Prey will not be released in theaters. However, you can watch this action horror film on Hulu as it is being labeled Hulu Original. It is set to debut on August 5, 2022.
