On June 27, it was revealed that David Corenswet will be playing the iconic role of Superman. Alongside him, Rachel Brosnahan has been cast as Lois Lane. Another major addition to the cast is Nathan Fillion. He will be playing the character of Guy Gardner. This casting has been highly anticipated as Fillion was once considered for the Hal Jordan version in the 2011 film. Isabela Merced and Edi Gathegi have also joined the project as Hawkgirl and Mr. Terrific, respectively. Anthony Carrigan will be portraying the lesser-known elemental hero, Metamorpho. The script for the film is still in development and its production is expected to start in 2024. As for now, it is scheduled to hit theaters on July 15, 2024.
