Wednesday Easter Eggs │ Secrets Of Wednesday Addams │ News Updates │ Cineflicks News

Wednesday has become the 2nd most-watched series of the year. Released on Netflix, this spooky fun series has made a lot of fans in a short time. But many of these fans haven’t noticed easter eggs throughout the series. If you are one of them, then stay tuned till the end. But before we start mentioning, make sure to subscribe to our channel CineFlicks News. Wednesday is full of easter eggs right from the start to the last episode. These easter eggs are in fact, a kind of tribute by the director Tim Burton. For example, in the pilot episode, Jenna Ortega, a.k.a Wednesday can be seen in a classic black dress with a white collar. Now, if you remember correctly, a similar dress can be seen by Christina Ricci. Christina wore the same style of dress in the 1991s film, The Addams Family. In such a subtle way, Tim paid his tribute to this movie. Then there is a stuffed bear in the principal’s office. This bear is also a reference that goes back to the 1964 TV series. In this series, the bear can be seen in Addam’s house. This brilliant easter egg is very underrated by the fans. But these easter eggs don’t stop at costumes and props. In fact, many clever details and interesting information are hidden in plain sight. Like the Hall at Nevermore Academy where Wednesday lives. This hall is named “Ophelia Hall” at the academy. Ophelia is the name of Morticia’s sister in the original Addams Family show. Similarly, The Nevermore Academy is named after Edger Allen’s poem, “The Raven”. The word nevermore is said by the raven in this famous poem. Then there are some references and interesting information about actual people. In the pilot episode, we can see that the Addams family car is registered in New Jersey. Many people don’t know that New Jersey was the birthplace of Charles Adam, the creator of the Addams Family. The show’s coffee shop is holding another interesting piece of information in its name. The Weathervane is the name of the student literary magazine where Charles Addams worked as an art editor. The most obvious yet ignored easter egg is a scene in the same coffee shop. In this particular scene, when Wednesday rings the service bell, Tyler responds with these words, You Rang? This scene is a copy of the original Addams family show where Lurch responds with the same words. We are leaving an easter egg for you in the coffee shop, tell us in the comments if you find it.
