INDIANA JONES 5 (2023) : Harrison Ford, Mads Mikkelsen │ News Update │ Cineflicks News

Indiana Jones 5 is actually happening and we do have a release date for it. After a long absence, our favorite adventurer is coming back on big screens. It will be the 5th installment in the Indiana Jones film series and the first one not to be directed by Steven Spielberg. But don’t worry, because this upcoming part is being helmed by another talented director, James Mangold. He has many successful movies under his belt like Logan (2017) and Ford Vs. Ferrari. While Mangold is sitting in the director’s chair, Steven Spielberg is serving as a producer for it. The writer’s block is led by Butterworth Brothers who co-wrote this film along with Mangold himself. The story is still under-wrapped, but thanks to inside information, we have some ideas about its potential storyline. There are rumors that it will be set in the 60s, meaning that Indiana Jones is the correct age as compared to the earlier films. However, thanks to a filming video, it looks like our adventurer will stop Nazis again in the fifth movie. It’s not clear if it’ll just be a flashback sequence or whether they’re the movie’s main villains. Or there could be time travel. Who knows? But we know that the filming has been completed earlier this year and it is in post-production now. As for the cast, Harrison Ford will reprise his role of Indiana Jones. Alongside him, Toby Jones, MadsMikkelsen, and Antonio Banderas have been cast in supporting roles. Indiana Jones 5 is set to release on June 30, 2023, by Walt Disney Studio.
