Barbarian is an upcoming horror thriller movie. Zach Crigger, who is credited for series like Wrecked (2016-2018) and Guys with Kids (2012-2013), is the writer and director of this horror flick. Having elements of crime, thrill, and horror, this movie has sparked an interest in horror lovers. The reason is the teaming up of Barbarian’s lead star, Bill Skarsgard, and Roy Lee, the producer of many acclaimed horror films, like IT, The Grudge, and many others. The film follows a young woman traveling to Detroit for a job interview and books a rental home there. But when she arrives late at night, she discovers that the house is double booked, and a strange man is already staying there. Against her better judgment, she decides to spend the evening. But soon, she discovers that there’s a lot more to fear than just an unexpected house guest. Georgina Campbell is playing the role of the young woman, Tess while Bill Skarsgard is cast as Keith, the strange and mysterious man. Barbarian was previously set for release in the U.S. and Canada on August 31. Later, 20th Century Studios and New Regency moved this film into September 2022. Now, this horror thriller will be released in theaters on September 9, 2022.
