The dynamic duo, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, are back on the big screen in the first trailer for the highly anticipated film “Air”. If you remember, these two first made a splash in Hollywood when they co-wrote and starred in the Oscar-winning classic “Good Will Hunting”. And just recently, they reunited on-screen in the epic historical drama “The Last Duel”. But this film will take you on a journey through the world of sneakers. Based on a true story, the film follows the rise of basketball legend Michael Jordan and the partnership that changed the sneaker game for good. In the film, we’ll see the story of Sonny Vaccaro, the marketing genius who convinced Jordan to sign his first sneaker deal with Nike. The recently released trailer gives us a sneak peek at the role that Vaccaro which is played by Matt Damon. The trailer shows how he is successful in securing the partnership that would change sports history forever. But before he became the most sought-after marketing executive in the sportswear industry, he was just an ambitious man with big dreams. The trailer also highlights the important role that Michael Jordan’s mother, Deloris Jordan, played in the deal, portrayed by the amazing Viola Davis. With a talented cast including big names like Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Jason Bateman, Viola Davis, and more. “Air” promises to be an all-star affair. And if you’re a fan of Affleck’s work, you’ll be excited to know that he’s also behind the camera as the director of this film. This marks his return to the director’s chair after the release of “Live By Night” in 2017. With a script written by first-timer Alex Convery, “Air” is set to hit theatres on April 5, 2023, and will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Although Matt Damon and Ben Affleck have been successful in the past, their last film together “The Last Duel” wasn’t as well received.
