The Wheel of time season 1 made a huge fan base when it was released in 2021. This epic fantasy series is adapted from Robert Jordan’s novel series of the same name. But unfortunately, apart from getting such a positive response, Amazon Prime Videos is not releasing the second season this April. In fact, it is getting pretty late. The filming for the 2nd season of The Wheel of Time began in July 2021, even before the first season was aired. But now, Amazon executives have planned a new timeline for its release. Rafe Judkins, the creator of this series, said in an interview that the show will be aired after the release of the Power of the Rings series, another major fantasy show coming on Amazon Prime. If that is the case, then we can expect that The Wheel of the Time season 2 will be aired in December 2022. Because the Power of the Rings series is scheduled to be released on September 2, 2022. Moreover, the filming for season 2 is still not wrapped. That’s why, we have to wait a little bit more to watch The Wheel of Time season 2.
