EXTRACTION 2: Official Teaser Trailer Released – Netflix │ News Update │ Cineflicks News

The highly anticipated trailer for Extraction 2 is dropped recently. With this adrenaline-giving trailer, we see the first glimpse of Tyler Rake in some hardcore action sequence. That’s why, in this video, we are going to break down this trailer for you. But that’s not only it. We will also tell you all the juicy details about this follow-up. So, buckle up and get ready for some action. Extraction 2 is an upcoming action flick from the streaming giant Netflix. It is a direct sequel to the 2020 movie of the same name. Based on a graphic novel by Ande Parks, the first part was an unexpected but major success. So much success that it gained a viewership of 99 million households in its first four weeks. The story of the first chapter revolves around a black-op mercenary, Tyler Rake. He takes a mission to save an Indian crime lord’s kidnapped son. His mission goes awry when he is double-crossed. The first film ends with a seemingly dead Tyler. Now, we have the first official trailer for the follow-up and it simply looks dope. In this film, we will him on another rescue mission. The official synopsis for this film reads, “After barely surviving the events of the first movie, Rake is back as the Australian black ops mercenary, tasked with another deadly mission: rescuing the battered family of a ruthless Georgian gangster from the prison where they are being held.” Chris Hemsworth is back to portray this character with all his charisma. Alongside him, Golshifteh Farahani is also back as Nik Khan, Taylor’s handler. Adam Bessa is playing the role of Nik’s crew member. The teaser starts off with a terrified girl sitting in a dark prison cell. Suddenly our hero emerges from the shadows and tells her to “MOVE” in his signature blunt fashion. Then, things really heat up as Rake finds himself in the middle of a prison fight. As we’d expect, the action is intense and we see him having flashbacks. We learn that he was actually declared “clinically dead” just nine months prior. We also get a glimpse of him in a hospital bed with a shot of his son. Although the movie promises the same level of intensity, there seems to be a new direction. In an interview with Collider, Joe Russo, the producer, explained that the sequel is “very different”. With a different color scheme, pace, and tone, fans will see an emotional side of Rake. Like its predecessor, it is also directed by Sam Hargrave. Extraction 2 is set to release on Netflix on June 16, 2023. For more updates, subscribe to the Cineflicks News.
