Mighty Nein from Dungeons and Dragons is coming to our screens. This announcement is made by Critical Role and Amazon Studios for D&D fans. This announcement is a clear indication that there will be many more explorations in the world of Exandria. So, what can we expect from this series? Mighty Neein is another project by Critical Role, the famous web series which later became a multimedia production company. The Critical Role is a creator-owned streaming show where the cast plays an ongoing Dungeons and Dragons campaign. After the enormous success of the first campaign, two more campaigns have been released. In April 2022, an adult animated series The Legend of Vox Machina was released on Amazon Prime Video. This show is based on Critical Role’s first campaign. The show was a critical and commercial success for both companies. Therefore, Amazon Prime not only ordered two more seasons for Vox Machina, but they also made a new deal about 2nd campaign of Critical Role, which of course is Mighty Nein. Now, you know how the D&D universe is expanding with Critical Role and Amazon Prime. Anyway, like Vox Machina, Mighty Nein is also set in Exandria. But the events of this campaign took place 20 years after the ending of the first one. Mighty Nein revolves around a team of adventurers who belong to the continent of Wildemount. As the story moves forward, this team finds itself in the center of a power struggle happening on Wildemount. The characters of The Mighty Nein are Fjord Stone, Beauregard Lionett, Mollymauk Tealeaf, Caduceus Clay, Yasha Nydoorin, Nott the Brave, Caleb Widogast, and Jester Lavorre. Like its predecessor, this lore also stretches up to 141 episodes. That’s why, it is certain that there will be more seasons to cover the whole adventure. According to some reports, Critical Role has signed an exclusive multiyear TV and film deal with Amazon Prime. In that case, we suspect there will be live-action adaptations of these adventures.
