Black Adam is not so far to land on our screens. This highly anticipated superhero film is creating hype on the internet. There have been talks for years about making a movie based on this popular character from DC Comics. But finally, the project is coming to fruition. Black Adam is a spin-off from Shazam (2019) and the 11th film in DC Extended Universe. For those who don’t have any clue about this famous character, let us tell you about this anti-hero from DC comics. Set in the present day after the events of Shazam, the film follows Adam, once a hero and original champion of the wizard who had all powers of Shazam. He was originally a hero but after his family was killed, Adam turned to darkness. He accidentally released the demons known as the Seven Deadly Sins. He was then imprisoned for his crimes and will return from his prison after 5000 years. Dwayne Johnson is leading the cast as the titular character of it. He will face the Justice Society of America which is determined to stop him. The members of JSA are Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo, as Atom Smasher, and Quintessa Swindell as Cylon. Pierce Brosnan will be showing up as Kent Nelson, a.k.a. Doctor Fate. Black Adam movie is rated PG-13 and some fans are disappointed with it. Jaume Collet-Serra is directing this movie while Adam Sztykiel has written the script. It is reported that there are plans for subsequent sequels of it. Dwayne himself has teased the possibility of running in with Shazam. On the other hand, Henry Cavil also teased us with the potential face-to-face of Black Adam and Super Man. it’s safe to say we’re in store for one epic showdown at some point in the future. Black Adam is set to release on October 21, 2022.
