Enola Holmes 2 │ Everything We Know So Far… │ News Update │ Cineflicks News

Enola Holmes 2 is heading straight to us later this year. Being a direct sequel to Enola Holmes 2020, this follow-up is bringing back another mystery for us. Like its predecessor, it is also based on Nancy Springer’s novels of the same name. When the first part was released, nobody had expected back then to become one of the most watched films on Netflix. So, this success became the sole reason for this sequel which is almost ready. It revolves around the kid sister of the famous detective, Sherlock Holmes, and her adventures. Like his brothers Sherlock and Mycroft, Enola is gifted with great intelligence and detective skills. The exact plot of 2nd part hasn’t been revealed yet, but the official logline says,” Now a detective-for-hire like her infamous brother, Enola Holmes takes on her first official case to find a missing girl. To solve this dangerous conspiracy she requires the help of friends and Sherlock himself to unravel.” Stranger Things star, Millie Bobby Brown is reprising her role as Enola. Alongside her, The Witcher’s Henry Cavil is cast as iconic Sherlock Holmes while Peak Blinder’s star, Sam Claflin is playing the eldest brother, Mycroft. The additional cast members are Adeel Akhtar, David Thewlis, and Louis Partridge. Harry Bradbeer and Jack Thorne are handling direction and writing respectively. As for production status, the filming was wrapped up in January 2022. Enola Holmes 2 is scheduled to be released this December on Netflix.
