Moon Knight Season 2 : Everything We Know So Far.. │ News Update │ Cineflicks News

Marvel’s Moon Knight appeared this spring and was successful in creating a huge fan base. With only 6 episodes, it introduced Egyptian Gods to Marvel Fans. Apart from its huge success, many fans are asking about a potential follow-up. To be honest, Marvel hasn’t confirmed nor denied a potential season 2 of Moon Knight. It was initially commissioned as a limited series by Disney, meaning it will likely only have one season like Wanda Vision. However, there is a strong possibility that we will be watching the 2nd season of Moon Knight. Hints and some loose ends are also given in the finale which can pave the way for Khonshu’s return. For example, in episode 6, Layla became the avatar of Tawaret which could lead to a deeper exploration. Then we have Jake Lockley, the third personality of Spector who became Khonshu’s avatar at the end. This cliffhanger might be a base for Moon Knight Season 2. Regardless of season 2, there is a chance we’ll see Oscar Isaac’s character again in a movie. In an interview, the show’s director Mohammed Diab said that “Marvel doesn’t go with a conventional way, so even if they like the character and want to extend the world, it could be season 2, it could be a standalone film, or he can join another superhero’s journey,” So, we are definitely going to see again Moon Knight in action. So far, no announcement, no scripts or idea about season 2 is announced. However, phase five of MCU might have something for this superhero.
